Porcelain Veneers are thin, custom made, tooth colored restorations, that are bonded over your existing teeth. Most of the time patients choose to have veneers placed to improve their smile. Veneers can be used to correct the size, shape, and color of teeth. Porcelain veneers are stain resistant and can appear very natural. They also require very little tooth preparation and are much more conservative than a crown. Veneers can last a very long time if properly maintained and placed in the right situation. Not all teeth are good candidates for veneers. Teeth that are weakened by decay or have existing large fillings are not a good choice for veneers.
