Invisalign

Invisalign provides a different option to straighten your teeth, without the use of traditional braces. This is accomplished by using a set of custom-made clear aligners. These aligners are almost invisible; most people will not even notice you are wearing them. The majority of treatments can be completed in as little as 9-12 months. During this time you will receive a new aligner every 2 weeks. Each aligner will gradually shift your teeth into the proper position.

Invisalign has many advantages over traditional braces. In addition to looking much better, invisalign trays can be removed at any time to allow for more effective cleaning and better periodontal health, there are no food restrictions, and no sharp metal brackets or wires. We still recommend some people use traditional braces depending on their individual case. In order to find out if you are a candidate for invisalign we will need to take impressions, pictures and x-rays of your teeth. We then come up with a treatment plan based on your preferences. In a couple weeks you can view virtual tooth movements and see what your teeth will look like when treatment is complete. The computer program will also give you an estimated time of completion prior to starting treatment.
