Dr. Bailey graduated from Oak Lawn High School and received his B.S. in Biology from Northern Illinois University. In 1977 he received his D.D.S. degree from Northwestern Dental School and married the love of his life, Mary, that same year. He practiced general dentistry in California for five years before returning to his home state of Illinois.
He has enjoyed serving his patients as a general family dentist in Oak Lawn from 1982-1994 and Palos Hills from 1994-2013. He looks forward to working with his son Brian, in their new Palos Park office. Dr. Bailey is a believer in preventative dentistry. His motto is: Consistent dental home care of brushing and flossing, with regular check ups, will greatly reduce your dental costs.
Dr. Bailey has been an enthusiastic supporter of continuing education his entire career, serving on the course committee of the Chicago Dental Society (CDS) for over fifteen years. He has also served many years on the CDS special events committee, and represented his local dental branch as an Illinois State Dental Society delegate. Dr. Bailey has also served as an officer for many years in his local branch of the dental society.
Outside of work you may find Dr. Bailey at the movie theater, walking his two dogs, or at one of the local sporting events. He also enjoys spending time and playing with his grandkids.
Dr. Bailey grew up in Orland Park and is a graduate of Carl Sandburg High School. He received a Bachelors degree in Biology from Eastern Illinois University. Dr. Bailey has been in practice since he graduated from Southern Illinois School of Dental Medicine in 2007. He has been serving the Aurora and Tinley Park areas for the past 6 years and is very excited to provide dental treatment in a brand new state of the art office, located in Palos Park. His focus is to provide comprehensive quality dentistry for all members of the family. Dr. Bailey is a certified invisalign provider. He enjoys providing all types of dentistry including cosmetic dentistry, veneers, and implant restoration. He is excited to be able to work conjointly with Dr. Drouin. Together they will be able to deliver many unique implant treatment options for patients in one office. Consistent with his desire to provide quality work, it is important for Dr. Bailey to remain knowledgeable of recent developments in the field and he completes multiple hours of continuing education each year. Dr. Bailey is a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society. For your convenience, Dr. Bailey has evening and weekend hours available.
Dr. Bailey currently lives in Homer Glen, with his wife Jennifer and young son Jackson. Jennifer is working on her PhD in clinical psychology at IIT. In his spare time Brian likes to spend time with family and friends, travel, watch movies, and keep up with the Bulls, Bears, and White Sox. Dr. Bailey is family-oriented and has anticipated the possibility to work alongside his parents for a long time. He feels blessed to have such a unique opportunity.
Mary Bailey is our dental hygienist and also manages the office. If you ever have any questions about your appointments or insurance, she will be happy to help you. She grew up in California and moved to the Chicago area to attend Northwestern University. Mary graduated from Northwestern University with a diploma in dental hygiene. She is a hygiene member of the Illinois State Dental Society. Mary continues taking post-graduate classes, has completed adult, child, and infant CPR, and is current on OSHA training. She previously worked at Children’s Memorial Hospital in the dental clinic and has spoken at several preschools teaching children proper dental care.
Mary is married, and has two grown children as well as two grandchildren. She gets along well with our young patients as well as our older patients. When she is not at the office you will find her walking her two dogs, babysitting, or at the local movie theatre.
Dominika is a Stagg High School graduate. She graduated from Everest College Dental Assisting Program. Dominika came to our office as a dental assistant extern and never left. She is very friendly and will put you at ease during your dental appointment.
Dominika is very good with children and has a daughter of her own. She is also fluent in Polish. As with everyone in our office, she is certified in CPR, up to date in OSHA training and continues to take continuing education classes to stay up to date in her field. When not working as a dental assistant, you will either find her with her daughter or taking a spin class at the gym.
Johanna is our newest Dental Assistant. She graduated from the Springboard Institute Dental Assisting program. She is very good with the children in our dental practice. When she is not working she is busy working on boy scout projects with her son.
